But for the money of a V1 and Veil, you could get a jammer. That would be a much bigger priority. Veil is absolutely useless without a jammer, and you already have a detector.

Yah I figured the a CB/scanner might do me good due to PA's extremely odd speeding laws, as I could hear a spotting officer calling out plate #s and whatnot to the other one waiting to pick up VASCAR and ENRADD targets. On a tangent (for all you Pennsylvanians); I go to an engineering school and about 60% of my friends are MEs, METs, and EEs so I'm going to get them to look into creating a infrared wavelength noise generator, to see if it will jam those damn things. Here's hoping.

ANYWAYS, yah I definitely want a laser jammer, but the reason I chose those items in that order was I just bought plane tickets and the like for a vacation to Yellowstone with my girl, so I'm just a little bit strapped for cash at the moment; hence the Whistler. I get another "paycheck" early Aug., the majority of which will also go to the trip, so I figured I could get one or two more cheap things (GRE PSR-300 scanner and potentially veil) if I work a little on the side. Plus I want to get the Blinder M27s when(?) they are released, but I wanted to wait a little bit for the first update so they could work out any glitches, so that would delay things even a little bit further. But, now that I think about it, the jammers might actually be a good idea first (as opposed to the V1 and G4), as I have a white '04 civic. This whole avoiding speeding tickets thing as a hobby is pretty effing expensive. lol

Well one step at a time I guess.. I'm going to laugh if my girlfriend and I break up after getting back from the trip, and then I get a LIDAR ticket the same day though

Again, keep your money in your pocket until you can afford a jammer. Buying Veil first is a completely pointless and counterproductive waste of money. That's like buying bullets for a gun you don't own. It will not do ANYTHING for you without a jammer. And then when you get your jammer, you won't have any idea how well it performs if you already have Veil on your car.

If you get jammers, you can turn them off in PA, but since you go to NY and are close to OH, it maybe a good idea to get them.
