Welcome to the forum ! Quick trigger sucks in Oklahoma/Texas. V1/Whistler is the performance champs of response time. Other brands have to hold a radar signal for around 500-800ms while V1/Whistler is in the 100-300ms range. Even the newest Escort redline that just came out is claimed 400ms..

Welcome to the forum. QT is a big problem here in Texas since almost all state troopers run it. What detector are you running?

running the 9500ix, with a redline on order. Might be getting a V1 though if the redline does not perform good on q/t.

Wait for the GOL tests before making any purchases. Should be out in a few weeks. They test the maximum for many radar detectors and other tests such as Instant on and Constant on and maybe quick trigger this year.

Oh believe me I cant wait for the tests to be out. I already pre-ordered the redline, but I can send it back, got 30 days.. I just may go with the V1 though. Do you know how they upgrade from the different versions of the V1? Is it firmware, or do you have to send it in everytime? If it has to be sent in for every time it needs updated, I just may stick with a Redline.
