Hi all,

I'm from Queens, NY and really into RD, jammers etc. I started off with the Escort Passport 5000 and I still have it. Not using it but it still looks nice when I plug it in once in a while

Anyway, I invested in a Escort Passport x50 (red) and hardwired it. The second one I bought for my other car was the Valentine1. I like both detectors but now, I'm leaning towards the V1. The Escort has a circuit problem when I beep the horn, the LASER goes off on the detector. I called up Escort and they wanted $129.00 to fix it! WTF?

All in all, they are both good detectors. Now I'm looking into laser countermeasures. You guys are going to make me spend $$ on laser countermeasures...but know what? I'm going to love every minute of it

not sure. I WAS a fan of Escort until the x50 was doing strange things and Escort WILL not repair that for free (even though they know its a circuitry problem). I was looking into the Shifter but THANK GOODNESS for this forum..I"m looking into the Laser Interceptor. I know there is one or proabably its the L.I. but I've seen one in Europe that is similar...or it is the LI? Dunno, saw the video a long time ago.

I've been getting tagged with laser 99% of the time now. So now its time for countermeasures. I have additional questions about the LI but I need my post count up so I can ask questions about it.
