    Default Hello form Texas!

Im new here and relatively new to the radar/laser community.
I just installed my Blinder M25 Xtreme today, and have been itching to be hit by a cop (not speeding, i just want the thing to go off without using a TV remote haha)

I also have a Phantom RCD XP that is currently not in use (i drove by a K speed sign in a school zone a few weeks back, and it didnt even recognize the K) so i took it out.

For the detector, I run an Escort 8500 X50

**also, if anyone has any mounting brackets for the blinder heads, ill buy them from you. i bought it used and he didnt give me mounting brackets. they are just stuck on the underside on a horizontal part of my hood (which id basically my grill) using industrial strength velcro**

It seems there are more new people from TX here than members of other states. Hence the statement of you guys spreading like a plague.

Welcome to the forum. I live in Allen and also have an Acura TL. What I did for my install was I purchased double sided 3M moulding tape and mounted my jammer heads with that. It is 6 bucks for a roll that will easily mount 2 heads. It does not feel very strong to the touch but after it has been installed it takes a screwdriver punching holes in the tape and prying it from the bumper to get it off.
