If you don't have countermeasures, don't speed.

If you have a smartphone, you can load Trapster on it. Google and see the subforum on this site.

I would never exceed PSL by more than 9 mph without countermeasures

Welcome to the forum, and Cauhauna is absolutely right. I-85 in North Carolina is arguably one of the deadliest areas next to I-40. NC State Highway Patrol are always out in full force. They do every enforcement type as well, VASCAR, Lidar, Radar, and Pacing...not to mention they use all bands of radar as well. You definitely need to read up a lot on this forum. Not to mention, NC is the worst state in the nation to get caught speeding in, if caught 15 over it's a mandatory license suspension for 30 days or anything over 80. Do you live in NC?

A good radar detector and laser jammer along with great situational awareness. A CB radio on the highway would not be a bad idea either.

I would go with a V1 for the Highway driving. Definitely need to look into a laser jammer as well. NC State Highway Patrol are extremely sneaky, so having a CB would also help you. When traveling through I-85 there's always tons of people pulled over as I'm sure you've noticed.
