    Default Hello From West Kentucky

    I recently purchased a Whistler Pro 78SE due to an increase in traffic stops in my area. The last detector I owned was nearly 20 years ago! I already had my first save this morning on the way home from work. :-)
    Thanks for all the great information, reviews, tutorials, etc!

    Thanks everyone for the welcome. I'm still getting familiar with the new 78SE. I hope to upgrade within a year or so to a higher end remote unit, but this will have to do for now. I am planning to hardwire the unit today. Considering some window tint to help hide it too. I assume standard non-reflective, darkening tint won't affect performance?

    You can add tint as long as the tint is non-metallic.

    Welcome! I use to work at Paradise and used a scanner in the auto. It worked great in Kentucky! Esp. the HP alert.
