    Default Hello! Newbie Checking In!

Hello. This looks like a great site for educated drivers who wish to be more aware of their surroundings.

Anyway, I got my Valentine One on order. Looks like a great product and looking forward to my new driving companion.

Thanks. The funny thing is that is was undecided between the Passport 8500 X50 and the Valentine. I actually bought the Passport a couple of weeks ago and it actually works great. My friend wanted one but could not find the same price that I got it for. He wanted to buy MINE as he saw it in action. After a discussion I agreed to sell him my new passport and I would order to Valentine to see how it measures up. I am really fascinated by the arrows and it's reviews on laser detection. I'm expecting a great product here.

It is pretty rare to pick up laser scatter. With LIDAR, 99% of the time your RD sees it, your speed has been "checked" by the LEO.

Hello. I do most of my driving in a SUV so I will be pretty high as it is.
I will probably go in the middle because of laser detection.
There is mostly Ka band here but LIDAR is somewhat common in the city. Hopefully, will sniff out the scatter. Planning on getting veil as well.
