    Default 'Nother New Member

    Greetings!
    I'm a former owner and user of a V1. It got "misplaced" when we moved in 2003. My wife hated the sound of it and also hated the fact that I was driving like I just didn't care.
    I'm looking at the possibility of getting a new one to mount in my MB R500. I want to see what's being said here.

    Welcome to the forum man, sorry to hear you are from Virginia. That state is terrible about speeding laws. If you like to drive fast, you will need more then just a RD in VA. Search around and you will know what I mean.

    V1 ftw. Although spectre are extremely uncommon, they ARE out there. I don't really worry about them around me, so i run my v1 all day every day. but they are.

    speedup is right.
    get laser jammers if possible.. at this point i'm getting hit with laser in loudoun/fairfax county more than i'm coming across stationary radar.

    I'd say, not so in this case. The wife hated it, so he stopped using it. This guy needs a 9500ci or a Bel STi-R Plus. My girlfriend hated every RD I ever owned, until TrueLock showed up on the scene.
