    Thanks for the welcome

V1 isn't an option for me where I currently live - might be moving somewhere a little more friendly towards gadgetry in a year or so, but not yet.

Plenty of people on the car forums I frequent swear by V1's, although interesting to hear that here, people seem to favour a multi-pronged approach to ass-covering

I'm just itching to get something intalled to go along with my current GPS warning setup for fixed cameras (just GPS software on Cellphone with good camera addon).

    Welcome from another Aussie.

Good to see more of us on here.
Just goes to show that more of us are getting sick of the oppressive laws in Oz.

Let us know what you finally decide to get.

My next move will be a 9500ci.

    Cheers all for the welcomes..

After hunting around for one, ordered an Sti-R to be sent to a relo's in California (relo = aussie slang for relative).

Should get forwarded and be here in a couple of weeks.. now I just have to wait by the front door for the postie.

Guess all I can do for now is read the manual and plan my install
