    Default Hi from Long Island, NY

    Hi everyone. first post. hoping to learn about which RD would be the best for my 2004 porsche 911 cabriolet. Most of my driving will be here on long island, on the long island expressway and the northern state.

    so far my research indicates valentine one with blinders for laser. but then theres the task of getting it installed properly, and find an installer who is reliable, trustworthy and can do a stealth install that wont hinder the functionality of the equipment.

    sooo, anyone out thre, send me a PM, or a post if you have any helpful info.

    thanks.

    Welcome. First, check out the Local/Regional section for what is being used in those areas. Before purchasing, do read up on laser interceptor vs blinder. If you can find a documented install for your car, it might be something you can tackle yourself.

    wow, this forum is great. so much helpful information. thanks to everyone.

    anyone have any good fotos of a V1 'stealth' install on a porsche 911 cab?

    or any suggestions for a reliable, reasonably priced installer?

    thanks again to all. hope to be able to contribute to the board with helpful information of my own soon.

    Why not doing your own install , it is not complicated , the hardest
    part is passing the wires from the motor compartment to the cabin .

    If this part is too much for your skill/equipment , ask your local garage to
    drill the hole for you ...the balance is abc + your will learn the tricks
    of the trade ....
    O divine art of subtlety and secrecy!
    Through you we learn to be invisible, through you inaudible;
    and hence hold the enemy's fate in our hands.
