The resources for RD info on the web is great, and I certainly appreciate all the helpful posts in this forum. And thanks in advance for
I suspect I will be a minority in this group: while I was on the road for business in the 80's my Whistler of that era helped me avoid a number of tickets. These days I am not in such of a hurry, drive fewer miles, and generally stay within 10 mph of the limits. However, I bought a cheapo Cobra for my E350 to hopefully keep my mind on the speedo when I might stumble upon small berg speed traps.
I just ordered a Whistler PRO-78SE for my 911; driving it means there are many more temptations to put your foot in it. While I try to avoid LEO attention by watching my speed and staying within fast moving packs to play the odds, I figure another weapon in the war to avoid adding points to my drivers license couldn't hurt.
Since I am lower to the ground than most of the traffic I plan to put it up high; while I realize catching a laser hit before one is focused on me is iffy, I hoped that seeing through car windows ahead of me might tilt the odds on my direction. Any thoughts?
