always a good choice, the best counter measure to radar and laser is going the PSL, especially in VA.
Other wise you could get an STi Driver or a Redline
I'm from VA, too. I'm not pulling back on throttle though, in fact I've been "pushing it" to say the least without countermeasures of any sort for quite some time. IMO the best counter-measure is your brain. Situational awareness, using rabbits, reducing speed around curves and over hills, avoiding being a "point man", etc. and of course some luck. I've been pulled over a few times in different states and got tickets for various stuff, but actual speeding I got only 2 tickets so far and I've been driving flashy sports cars for about a decade now.
I'm going to install countermeasures soon, right now trying to research what options are there to further reduce chances of getting busted for silly stuff like speeding.
IMO by "pulling back" on the throttle, you basically do what their intent was: to pussywhip you into speed limit obeying pussy. Personally, I say **** that.
Drive smart, drive fast and load up on countermeasures, get the top notch stuff, because literally, your freedom is at stake here. I've looked up some reckless driving cases, there was a case where a guy got busted going 119 in 65, well he got 365 days in jail, 265 suspended, big fine and license suspension for 6 months. Fight the power, but do it smart.
Yeah Hellginia is a terrible state. Move to any other state (except North Carolina) if you want to speed. VA loves issuing reckless driving tickets like candy. Anything over 80mph you will get owned or going 20 over. 90 or faster = jail time.
I've heard the VSP is kind of lazy in general. They save their fancy stuff for the areas around the boarder.
Project "BONES" Speed Lab:
Valentine One, Blinder M47 "All Front Configuration"
Pro97 Police Scanner
1 Saves / 3 Strikes as of 8/22/2009
Estimated saves in U.S. Dollars: $200

VA did not seem to be that bad 25 years ago when I was stationed in Norfolk, or is it just me and they were then.
Oh well it sucks there now!
Im in bristol a lot, and around that area they are bad. Its right on the border. Ive had to add a number of traps on 81 going into Va for the first 20 miles on Trapster.
