    Default Not so new

I've been on since last year but updating things.

Just bought a MINI Cooper clubman and will be reinstalling LPP dual and V1 along with a new toy, the GPS Cheetah mirror.

Am getting the LPP updated with the latest software, should have it mid-July. Hope the updated one does better in tests--though it seems to have worked well and detected/responded to all LIDAR locally.

I plan on attending whenever the next test is that I can get to (missed the Houston one)

With the flat back of the MINI clubman I am not even bothering to try protecting the rear. All my encounters so far have been front shots.

Has anyone found mounts that can be used for the heads that are micro-adjustable, like a vernier camera mount or something like that?

    Thanks

Welcome. How do you know you've only had front shots?

(laugh) well I guess I don't know 100%-- but the only ones I've seen have been from the front and my V1 hasn't indicated anything from the rear. Most common LIDAR users around here are the motorcycle patrolmen, though sometimes I see cars with the trunk up and patrolmen standing next to them. Outside of the metro area radar is still king, and even within the city radar is used the most, all Ka.
