    Default New From CT

    I've owned an Escort 8500 and V1 for many years and recently I loaded "Trapster" on my Garmin. I've been happy with my detectors and generally use the V1 because of it's sensitivity and the arrows. The V1 has saved me on many occassions. However, I would like to add laser protection. The GPS version of Trapster works well but the data is not "live", as it is on a cell phone.

    I owned a 68 Vette but sold it for my 93 Vette.

    I'm excited to be a part of the forum and learn from others that have tried radar / laser detection devices. I enjoy driving without the worry of red lights in the rear view mirror.

    Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm just starting my laser protection search but will start here. Honestly, I don't what the differences are in the systems but I'm sure that I'll learn fast.
