    Cool Hey! From Florida!

    Hey Everyone!

    This is my first time posting on this forum so I thought I'd give a bit of my background. I recently got into using radars and jammers after being stopped for the second time in 2 years in almost the exact same area! I just got my radar detector today, it's an Escort 9500ix. I read some good reviews about it and decided to give it a shot, it's awesome so far! I bought my jammers today and can't wait to get them installed, I got the M27's which will be perfect for my car.

    A little bit about myself...I'm a student up at UCF majoring in Global Studies and I've been interested in cars ever since I could start driving. Everyone says I've got a lead foot when it comes to driving...and I agree with them now. Hopefully I'll learn a thing or two from these forums about radars and jammers as I attept to make myself "ticket-proof" or so I hope.

    Thanks bro. I bought it used (only once somehow) for $350. Basically a steal compared to retail.

    No actual "saves" yet, but I tested it out today for fun and noticed a LEO using LASER and decided to see what happens. So I drove by him and sure enough, he lasers me and the radar goes off...I just laughed. It'll be even better once I get my jammers. I'm expecting some pretty good saves in the near future for sure though.

    Just so you know there is no such a thing as "ticket proof". If you think using countermeasures will make you invulnerable then you are headed for an epic fail.

    Your eyes and situational awareness are still your best weapons, electronics just add another layer of defense. You have to be perfect every time to avoid a ticket, the LEO needs only to be lucky once!!
