Welcome to the forum.

Laser Interceptor. Research done.
Install them in the grille, cut it and fit them in. I believe I've seen that install on here before.
Idea #1: http://www.radardetector.net/forums/...ed-advice.html
Note how there are comments on the STI-R+ receiver head behind the grill, and the LI's are too low. (Use the search to find more ideas)
Do you have a detector already? Where are you from? Help us out, so we can help you.
Ohh by the way, Welcome to the forums.
Great car...I don't have an M3 but I bet my modded 335i could keep pace with you! In my opinion, the best route to go (without murdering your bimmer's face) is LI HP's (Laser Interceptor High-Powered version) mounted vertically in your grill a couple slats from each headlight.
Welcome to the club.
For the record, "Laser Jammers do not work, and are a scam".
Yes, LI's are the best.

I'm from Alberta Canada, so its all legal here. I was looking at an STi-R Plus install with LI but am confused about whether the vertical mounting solution (with or without the Hi power version) would work without cuttig up any grill, or whether the air duct holes directly beneath the headlights are a better solution. I am trying to search as well, but it doesn't like the term m3 as it is too short and spits it out.
Also concerned with the best performance for the STi_R detector, does vertical mount matter with it.
Thanks.
