    Default Rt.13 in Northampton, VA.

Just sayin' Hi. I'm here initially b/c I recently got ticketed on rt.13 in Northampton VA for what the "county sheriff" in them thare parts calls reckless driving...what a joke. Anyways not here to weep or cry about it insomuch as to just share notes and/or laugh, lol. I have a Cobra XRS 9550G radar detector, which ALWAYS sits on top of the dashboard of my 70' Chrysler 300 2dr coup. Curiously, although it's been extremely dependable, it did not register anything moments before being pulled over...when I was supposedly clocked with a "Kustom" radar set, yeah..weird.
Of course I also received a summons for having the radar detector, which are illegal in VA. You'd think I was running shine' or something out there on the eastern shore.

Welcome, great car by the way.

Did the Cobra come with the car?

I am guessing the LEO saw it & figured it didint work.

Thanks! The Chrysler is my pride and joy. It has a healthy 440 which has enough grunt to get her moving along quite nicely. I bought the radar detector somewhere like around 8-9 months ago; but I've had the car much longer than that.

I apologize but what is a "LEO"?

No worries...440, that brings back some memories.. Beautiful car truly a classic. I can remember the 440 Doge Fury police cars...Hell of a motor. I started DC police in late 80s we still had some Fury police cars with the 318. Good times back then.
