From GA and need some help in making a highway set up

Hi to all! I've been browsing here as a guest for over a month now. So I decided to join and learn a little more on some things I can't seem to understand properly.

I do a lot of highway driving(%80 of the time), mostly on I-85 or I-285. I am going back and forth between the Valentine 1 and the Escort RedLine. From what I read on here, the V1 is the best RD on Q/T and the RedLine is more sensitive with 35.5. The problem is that, I don't understand what these numbers and letters mean nor I understand what type of devices they use in GA.

What is the better choice for someone that does a lot of highway driving? Also considering a laser jammer setup once I find the right RD.

Both the V1 & RedLine RD's have very fast reaction response to an incoming radar signal.The "numbers" refer to the frequency the radar transmitter is operating on.Think of it like tuning a radio dial trying to find a particular music station.
