    Default Hey from Anaheim

    Hi everybody,

My son and I were riding our motorcycles a couple of days ago on our way to work and got a speeding ticket. I am looking to add a radar jammer to each bike so I'm here looking for info. I own a CNC machine shop and work for a living.

    all the best

    Welcome to the forum.

I guess you meant Anaheim, California as in Anaheim Mighty Ducks NHL Team, right?

    1) There are NO radar jammers on the market, all you need is a very good Radar DETECTOR (RD) and/or Laser Jammer (LJ),

    2) Unfortunately LJs are illegal in your state, no idea what happens IF you get caught with such device in/on your car/bike.

USA Laser Jammer Laws - Guys of LIDAR

Feel free to research the forum, tons of very useful/helpful info, at the end it's up to you what "toys" to get for your bikes and/or cars.

Feel free to check out Radar Roy's videos on RDs for bikes.

Thanx for the welcome. I know that jammers are illegal but I'm thinking of putting a cheaper ZR4 under the seat on my V-max anyway with a kill swithch on the handlebar and machine billet turn signal arms to install/hide the transmitters and make it look like an integral part of the bike. I need to hook up a couple of LEDs up next to the speedo to give me a heads up to JTK and use the handlebar kill switch.

any thoughts or things i've missed would be appreciated.

    thanx

    You're very welcome.

Best is to open a new thread in this section of the forum:

    Laser Jammers - General

otherwise your very interesting questions will easily get lost in the Introduce Yourself section.

Personally I know nothing about LJs other than LJ laws, how they look like and manufacturers/models, never had any LJ system installed on my cars.

It says that Laser Interceptor is the best but also the most expensive, also you need the proper LJ system for a BIKE, that's different than a regular 4-wheeler.

    Ride safely AND smart.

Ticket was radar or lidar (laser)?

Name your new thread something like "Advice for a Laser Jammer for my Bikes".

In the Laser Jammer General section OR in the Motorcycle Section:
