I recently got a speeding ticket in my neighborhood, speed trap by a school. They gave over 50 tickets that day and I really question accuracy. They had 2 Sheriff operating the gun and 10 cruisers to pull the people over.
So when I asked to see the gun reading, the Deputy tells me that isn't possible, as they pulled over other people. He wrote on the ticket that I was clocked going 36 in a 25 (school zone) and that I was detected 414 feet from the gun.
I really question this and will be doing some measurements prior to my court date, including using GPS photographs, GPS coordinates and a diagram with measurements.
Does anyone know what type of Radar/Laser LIDAR equipment is used in Riverside County? Specifically what is used by the Eastvale PD (contracted with RCSD
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I want to research how often the LIDAR equipment needs to be calibrated. Any additional arguements that I can use would be great too!!
