About the LI...
The LI comes standard with 2 heads (transceivers) and has the ability to connect an additional two heads, being 4 heads in total.
You can read up more from the LI forum: http://22.214.171.124/LaserInterceptor/smf/index.php
So yes, it is a different unit than the prototype tested at GOL. We only found this out a week or so ago ourselves.
LI felt the second transmitting diode in each head was redundant.
If ordering from US you'll need to order direct from the USA rep.
Each transceiver has 2 receiving & 1 transmitting diode.
When are the next GOL tests due?
Let's see the results of this No1 jammer with 1 transmitting diode.
I hope the LI Jammers do well at the next test and also hope all others do well too. I want all the Jammers to kick some Laser butt so we will all be better off.
I think most of the tests that folks other than the GOL have done on the LI, have been of the current single transmit diode production LI. It seems that the LI is among the top tier systems, if not the best, in terms of jamming ability.
There's no lack of videos on the net of it in action.
I also look forward to the GOL's publication of a test, since they have a history of putting a lot of effort into the planning, execution, and documentation of their tests.
While my opinion is no longer objective, I have tested my late production LI against the PLIII, PLII, 100LR and LA Speedlaser B and S Types and I have yet to find any indication that the non-GOL version doesn't work up to the same results of the GOL tested version and I have a paramount need for it to do so. I SPEED!! Alot! through some of the best known Speedtraps in Florida, Lawtey, Waldo, Hampton and Starke, Fl.
I can definitely second that sentiment.

There is no big conspiracy here. Ivan et al from LI had informed many that only one transmitting diode would be used as almost identical performance was provided without the need for 2.
I have no issue with that as long as performance is good enough. I firmly believe it is.
Exactly what "comment" is needed, Yezinki?
There have been countless posts and threads about this 1-transmitter (production/retail) versus two ('07 GOL Shootout "tested" version) concern.
What's the use in trying to stir up the pot, YET AGAIN ?
This is something that's been KNOWN ever since the first discussions on the specs of the production/retail version of the LI took place, over 9 months ago.
Similarly, it's something that was openly discussed and intensely debated here, on RR.net, as well as even on the Laser Interceptor Forums.
Anyone who has properly researched the purchase of the LI should easily have come across this issue, even if they have done only the most superficial of research, the recent discussions here should easily have caught their attention.
Once more, my question -> why drag this out yet again?
There have been plenty of independent hobbyists here who have submitted their own test data regarding the production/retail, single-transmitter/emitter LI.
Similarly, the GOL has already stated that the production/retail, single-transmitter version of the LI is what will be tested for this product in their next test.
Why are we covering old ground? I don't think that there's anything more left to be said, other than either:
(1) you choose to believe - or not - the evidence submitted by various members of this community or other on-line "tests" (any adult should be able to make their own decision about what to believe, and what to discount)
(2) just wait for the next round of GOL tests.
Hey, BTW, how's you x50 "donation" going ?
Having fun violating the rules of our community? still trying to con a few bucks?
And we all thought you'd never grace us with your presence, ever again?
I apologize for posting an old discussed topic.
BTW I plan to donate the X 50 Blue to you since you have an older ver….this is Rev 6.1.
Ive posted some more evidence for you in the video section BTW.
What’s the tech difference btw standard & slim heads?
charles charlie charles.....it’s for you.
Not the frustrated ex LPN or the Asian depressed guy.
^ Thanks, but no thanks.

I took the Oath, once, too. This kind of unethical behavior from a (claimed) fellow professional disappoints me, to say the least.
