About to buy an LI, and I have a question...

Is the Laser Interceptor able to be updated? Meaning if I buy it today, and in six months they release CPUs that can tackle some new guns that hit the market can my CPU be upgraded or flashed with the new algorithms? Or would I have to buy a whole new unit?

Correct. Can you please specify if I have to buy a new CPU or if I can have mine reflashed? Or would the cost be the same?

Right now you pay $50 and $150 refundable deposit. New CPU is sent directly to you and you send the old one back in a prepaid envelope. Once the old CPU is received the deposit is refunded.
