Thumbs up New Feature on the LI

I recently thought that this would be a few really nice features to have.

    Features:

First off a Control Module that You could adjust the volume, adjust settings, etc.

The Main Feature, have a switch that instead of turning the jammer all the way off you turn the jamming part of it off which enables you to see if he's still shooting at you and how long he's shooting at you.
I feel that it would make users less prone to JTG LEO's
And If you state it in your manual to do this (Turn the jamming capabilities off when you coast to the Speed limit) then I think it could really help us out.
Maybe even incorporate in the Control module some new features
    Incorporate GPS too
    Etc.

Why incorporate GPS? To make it more expensive for nothing? What would GPS even do?

The same thing that the Escort does, and

This I would find pretty nice: To be able to mark sections via gps and put a start and end location and then be able to put a specific speed limit for that particular section. That way the LI would automatically turn off once it sees that you have reached that speed and would make the user less prone to JTG LEO's.

Yeah it would be expensive but just a though. Maybe for the future

No need for GPS on a laser jammer and if you think there is a need you really haven't thought on why GPS is uses in radar detectors. (Radar detectors false) Laser jammers rarely false

Having the ability to build in a timer for jamming would be nice.

Though i would like LI to quit trying to make their own wireless kit which I doubt we will ever see and set-up their unit to work with the Cheetah products

    Spoiler: show

    Laser Jammer-Laser Interceptor Quad
    GPS Camera Locator-Cheetah C100
    GPS Nav-Garmin nuvi w/Trapster
    CB Radio-Galaxy DX-949 w/Wilson 500

I would rather rely on myself to know the speed limit than a computer that might malfunction and shut off the jammers while still speeding. LI, please don't do anything of this sort.

And no! No built in timer! What if you are speeding and you have your music up pretty loudly. You get shot for 5 seconds and aren't realizing it, your jammers shut off. You are screwed.

If you can't hear the sound of your jammer you are not driving careful enough and deserve a ticket

Besides other jammer companies had made the jammer timer an option that a person can use if they like

LI is computer programable so I would like the option so I could add it if I wanted

Lovely. You made a topic that sounded like you found new features on LI. You need to change the topic name to "Features I want in LI".

What the hell does this have anything to do with shooting laser? Laser can be shot at almost any part of the highway unlike radar.

The only thing LI needs to have is customer service, reliability, and able to jam-to-gun with a switch to turn off the jammer.

Yeah Im not telling them to do it but I think some new tech would be nice to see in the future.

Red light cameras and such for people that use the v1 and the LI would be nice. So that they could have those functions without buying a cheetah or escort product.

Hey I was throwing it out there, you brought up some good points. I think maybe in the future it would be nice to have settings and s*** like that.

Eh... I just think keeping it simple would be best for a laser jammer. If you are really worried about RLC's and things of that nature let another product do it, like a Cheetah product made for that, and let the jammer jam. Just my opinion.

Yeah I respect your opinon, and also think the same on what you just said unless they perfect it. RLC's would be nice though in the future, but I aint worried about it.

I do dissagree on having the mode to where it turns off the jamming part of the lj and puts it in recieving mode.
And having a control module for volume, and settings would be nice
