    Default LI HP startup?

Hi, i was wondering what was normal to hear when first switching on the LI ?
The reason i ask is when i first installed it , it would say welcome then beep roughly 20 times then say parking aid deactivated .

Today i went thruogh a car wash , and maybe this is just coincidence, the heads are somewhat protected from any pounding they might recieved. now it sometimes might beep once or not at all , then several second pause, before it saying parking aid deactivated , between it saying welcome and and parking aid deactivated there is several seconds of silence rather than the beeping. The heads look ok as far as level.

Sometimes it will start up like originaly did. Is this it detecting how close it may be to something before switching off the parking aid?
To be honest id rather not hear all the beeping every time i start up.
Thanks in advance for any input.

The beeps after you startup and before it says parking aid deactivated are telling you the sensors see something blocking them. If you are in close proximity to an object this is normal.

Laser interceptor HP is not designed to be used as a parking aid , the funktion is there but it just beebs the hole 20sek because the laserdiods/head are just overpowering the unit , at least i was told that it doesnt work propely on the HighPower units .

u can turn off parkinaid via software on the LI , just connect a laptop to the main unit cia rs-232 nullmodem cable and edit settings, thas what i did and got rid off those beebs
