    Default LI Customer Service

    I bought and had professionally installed a quad LI on my car last week. At the same time I had a CB/9500 ci installed. I got the car back on Friday afternoon. Drove it for the afternoon, LI working well with normal start-up. I keyed my microphone on the CB while checking SWR and I think it may have blown my LI speaker out b/c I lost LI output (internal and external) later in the day (couldn't here it on next start-up). It could have blown independently (I am going to check with installer on Monday on wiring).

    So, needless to say, I was moderately frustrated on Friday night that my new LI was blown shortly after I drove it from installer. So I emailed Cliff with LI and gave my situation (said that I couldn't hear output from LI but I can see heads firing with digital camera). I asked him in the email what my options were.

    He called me in 10 minutes on Friday night at 8 p.m. and offered to meet me halfway between my house and his (I live in Tampa, he lives somewhere north of here) with a new LI CPU that he would setup immediately for me. I don't know him well, but we met once at a CFL meet. He met me that night, we put the new CPU in, and I was good to go (although I'm leaving CB off for now).

    So, here's a big thank you to the most responsive customer service I've had from any company or person.

    Yeah that's great customer service the priority mail he uses is quick as well I got my replacement head within two days and free shipping it doesn't ge better than what happened to you.

    Ditto. I had the same problem that hippocrates had. While doing wiring in my car, I got a power surge that erased my voice alerts. Cliff doesn't care what happened or how it happened; he's going to overnight you a replacement immediately and worry about what happened later. His primary concern is getting you back on the road, no questions asked. You cannot possibly ask for better customer service than that.

    I had a similar experience with my LI turning it off and then back on one day. Sent an email to Cliff and he sent me a replacement out the next day with no questions asked.

    Not too many companies stand behind their product like that anymore these days.

    Cliff walks the talk. I mean walks the walk. I mean, he's a walkie talkie...

    Seriously, he stepped in with LI, a while back, and has done what he said he would. Exemplary customer service is all I ever hear about the guy!
