    Default LI Acting Weird

Today, I started my truck and my LI started beeping as if there was an object in front of it. My truck is parked in the go position so there is nothing in front of the LI. After about a minute or two, the LI announces parking aid is deactivated and the beeping stops. What could be the cause of this problem? If the parking aid portion of the LI is messed up, does this mean the jamming portion is messed up as well?

Heads are seeing something, dirty head or water in the head would be my guess.

Yes I suspect they may not be jamming to optimal specifications!!!

Do you have a Sony camera with night shot mode? If so go out after dark and the IR from nightshot mode will allow you to look right into the front of the head. You will know if there's water, you can see it. Don't have the heads firing, it will only blind the IR.

doenst the beeping sound means the LI is actaully being used as a parking sensor? i remember the first couple days that i got it it made a beeping sound when i was parked pretty close to a car.

That's the problem. He is parked with nothing in front of him to set off the parking. I'd check the heads as well.

Before getting the camara, i'd play the unplug each head individualy game. If it stops alerting with one sensor unpluged you found the bad head. If it keeps alerting even with all the heads unpluged then you know the problem is with the CPU box. Give that a try.
