have to post here to give me a total of 15 so I can include links...
This is what my grill looks like....

and at the widest part (closest to headlights) it isn't very deep, there would definitely be some sensor sticking out although I see the new 2010 LI sensor heads are not very deep at all which will help...
Thinking about going with just double sided auto tape as per advice from some here for an easy uninstall (car is leased) but open to opinions.
Thx
Paul
Thanks Snoopy,
I'm also wondering about mounting options (the auto tape I'm hoping would hold well enough but your opinion?) and also for any advice on the wire placement and getting through the firewall....
Do you think with a silver lighter coloured car with no front plate there's any need for Veil G4 on top of the LI's coverage?
Regular LIs in the blue area will give JTG results. I tested that car with the Truspeed and ultralyte with 30+ runs and can't get a single reading. It felt like shooting a deer with a BB gun, hopeless.
That is EXACTLY what I want to hear, thanks Dr
Did you happen to do the install on the civic??
Double side tape will hold very well. Buy shims at home depot to help level the heads. All hondas I'd installed jammers on (1991 accord, 1997 accord, 2000 accord, 2005 accord, s2000) has a direct firewall access. Look for a black round plastic part along the fire wall and pop it off with a screwdriver.
Oh that's great news. I'm assuming the firewall access is drivers side? And won't the shims interfere with the tape or how are you inferring I position them?
Thx

Double side the LI heads and leave a 1/2 inch gap in the middle. Install the heads and use fishing line to square the heads to the road. Last, use the shims and insert it between the head and front grill until the are allign with the road. Cut the shims where it needed to allign the heads and your done. Check heads every few months for allignment. My 2005 accord double sided tape has been perfect even after a year with no adjustments. Make good use of the LI level. I always have it in my car. Honda is a very easy car to work with. The 2005 accord took me 1 hour to run/hide wires and mount CPU/ and on/off switch. 1 hour to allign the heads. My s2000 was the same.
