Different versions of LI Quad, how do I know what i'm getting?

I have the opportunity to buy the LI Quad at a really, really, cheap price.

The seller states it was brand new in box but hasn't installed it... (via Craigslist, risky?)

What should I look for, and is there any versions / serial #'s I should avoid?

And really any way to test it to make sure it isn't broken?

Yes, of course. I suggest you stay away from this deal. The only way to know if it is broken is to either test it with a laser gun or speed at a LEO shooting laser and see if you get pulled over or not

Why worry when you can buy from an authorized dealer and you KNOW its the real deal...don't get scammed on Craigs List. Stay away from that, buy from Radarbusters or LI. You know you're getting the real deal.

Craigslist is highly risky. FleaBay at least has a ratings system, but craigslist is point and shoot.
