Hi, I've been a reader for a few years with few posts, but I haven't seen a post on "How safe is laser"? or "How safe is a laser jammer?"
Is the likelihood or possibility of eye damage so small it is not an issue?
What is the possibility of someone looking into a laser gun when fired and LEO's are not aiming for the windshield generally anyway.
Now with the Interceptor with HD heads, I've read, not to look into the units when powered up, so how do these jammers work? Do they literally send a brighter laser beam directly back to the laser gun jamming it. Or is the Interceptor sending a wide beam covering a large area where someone could be looking at the front of the vehicle at the same time while the Interceptor is engaging and jamming the gun.
What is the possibility of someone looking into a laser jammer?
I drive about 75k miles a year, I have a STi Driver and I'd like to buy the Interceptor, but am hesitant.
Secondly, and maybe this should be a second post, how difficult is it to remount the Interceptior system to another vehicle once I need to replace my car, since I don't usually drive a vehicle more than 2 or 3 years.
