    Default laser jammer install

The problem I am having in chosing a jammer is that I own a '97 Chevy Cobalt and if anyone has seen the front end grille, it seems every "slat" in the grille is pointing downward. NOT facing forward. I am very hesitant I cutting the grille especially when I try to sell the car at a later point.
I am interested in getting a jammer and all, what kind I am uncertain and with the grille situation I am unsure.

Any readers have any experience with this car or suggestions?

    Thanks bunches in advance.

We can help you more if you post some pics of the front end of your vehicle.

Your the perfect candidate and why we designed our special Aluminum Sensor Brackets seen below. Simply slide the one end between the grill and the body and attach to the bodywork. Then bend the sensor attachment neck to level and install the sensor. No cutting of your grill required.

oh, thats how that works! I am also thinking of getting this soon too and I had the same question and when I looked at the bracket I wasn't sure how that was going to work.

How well is double sided 3M tape for installing the brackets? Some folks have stated it holds really well. I worry about vibrations and I live in Dallas so the heat to me would unglue the tape.

Any thoughts about alternative methods of securing?

Also, I saw that Radarbusters web site is selling them with a discount. Would this be the latest revision available or is the only place to get the latest version is directly through the manufacter website.

    thanks

    thanks
For the brackets, I think 3M tape will allow way too much flexing. Using 3M for the heads themselves to the car is fine.

I use 3M tape on my installs but my mounting surface is level to the roadway so I had no need for the brackets which help facilitate a level install. If you properly prepare the sensors and mounting surfaces with rubbing alcohol, the sensors will not move a bit even in the extreme temperatures found near the radiator.

The Laser Interceptors from Radarbusters are the exact same latest Generation 8 units sold directly by us, Laser Interceptor.

I would personally take the extra time to use the brackets, they are great.

I used them with my current dual LI 8 setup. The results were awesome, JTG in most cases.

I mounted the brackets on mine with the 3M mounting tape, no problems what so ever.
