I've gotten some falses on bare empty roads, the only thing in sight was the reflection of my HID's. Don't suppose you're running HID's in your scooby?
Errr just watched the video, nevermind.

I understand Alpine's frustration .
I my-self refrain to post of bad experiences with the Li ,
so to not shade the product ...
First , Cliff always treated me like a friend .
Nevertheless , last year I purchased my second dual unit
for the rear . As soon I received the new baby , I tested it
out-of-the-box . Everything is fine . The next day I perform
the install ...all ok . 2 days later I experience the ''patrol XR''
alert out-of-nowhere . Call Cliff , he tells me to check which head is doing the alert , easy find ...as soon as the sun hit
the sensor , here goes the alert ....a brand new unit , checked by Cliff personnally before shipping ....ah
electronic is like human ...fine in the morning , sick
at night .
To make it short : send back the sensor , Cliff sends me another sensor right away ...yes it is frustating....but
would be 1000 times more frustrating without the top service
from Cliff ...always a phone call/email away .
I touch wood , my 2 duals behave perfectly since.
Though I would suggest to the manufacturer to bench test
each system for achieving zero-defect @ 99.999% ....
perfect as human we are !
O divine art of subtlety and secrecy!
Through you we learn to be invisible, through you inaudible;
and hence hold the enemy's fate in our hands.

I also was there to witness Alpine's LI act up to the Reigel alerts before so this is NOT some kind of joke! Hard nosed facts are difficult for some to take. Alpine did attempt to make a phone call about getting his LI fixed (I also was there to hear the phone call) and he was made out to be the bad guy so how is this Alpine's fault? I DON'T see the corrolation. Start being nice on this board and offering kindness to others. Thank you HappyA$$ and Languy for backing him up on "factual" information!
Hey, just going by what he himself posted about his previous problem. And at that time, he told us how Cliff sent him a post-paid mailer, but Alpine couldn't be arsed to take the time to mail it. Finding a UPS Store was too much of an inconvenience for him. If that information wasn't "factual", then why did Alpine post it?
I don't think anyone here is even debating whether the information is factual or not. Clearly he needs to send his unit back to LI to have it looked at. The simple question is:
What is stopping him?
Cliff has been nothing but great to me in regards to customer service. A few bad units are bound to be produced. It may be a pain, but what other options are available when this happens? Send it back, get it fixed, be on your way...
Maybe if you post some emails showing LI support saying they won't honor a warranty, that would be somewhat different. But the fact of the matter is your unit isn't working properly, there isn't much this forum can do to help fix it - you need to send it back, and you are still posting here, while your unit still sits in your possession.
OP:
We need some photos of the install, CPU version, is the wiring done well?
Didn't read every page, but did the OP check to see if the false alerts corresponded to the use of an electrical device in the car?
The ZR4 in my wife's car falses almost every time the driver side mirror is adjusted. (electronically actuated) It's electrical "noise" in our case.
My solution: Buy everything with American Express. Then you have at least 1 year of additional warranty.
