So me and the old man ran my first test on a road spanning about 1500FT on the straight armed with the LTI Truspeed 20/20. I have to say considering the conditions, overall I'm very pleased with the results.
-A new driver learning how to drive (this was really annoying to me and my old man)
Here are the results
CM: PT 70ft
Driver HL: PT 296ft
Pass HL: PL 158ft
CM: JTG (reading at 50ft when my father was turning off)
Driver HL: PT 158FT
Pass HL: not tested (at this point the idiot new driver officially got under my skin, and it was too dark)
I also made 2 baseline runs (jammer off), and I have to say up until about 800ft I was having trouble getting a reading at CM, maybe my aim is off? My setup can be found here:
So what do you guys think? Is it normal to take a few seconds to get a reading from 1500ft with the Truspeed? Are these results ideal? I plan on doing my next run in daylight so I can friggin see the HLs/License plate. Nonetheless, not bad for my first time testing. I love the LI! And the Truspeed is a cool toy.
