Default LI question??? Could be a stupid one!

Ok, has anyone running the LI system gotten a radar induced speeding ticket? Or even more, the LI HD system?
    If so, what went wrong?
I really want to install one of these systems, but the are expensive and I am just trying to justify the cost.
    All responses are appreciated!

LI is a LASER jammer. it will NOT jam RADAR.

If you meant laser ticket. I haven't personally had one since. But you need to get it tested before you get a false sense of security. It's not the product. It's how you use it. With a proper install, your LI HP heads will make you bulletproof (as SS likes to say)

    Sorry, my bad.
Its late, and I am typing on my iPad in my bed. I did mean LASER.
    Thats what I need, bulletproof!

To my knowledge only one person i know had a ticket with the LI it was a failure with the install IIRC. As long as you make the install perfect you should be fine andd not worry about getting a ticket but you have to keep situational awareness

if you install it wrong you'll get a ticket. Not only that, but use common sense. An example is NOT to speed over a hill....

yes, I think that's how I got nailed with my Z4's. I was coming down over an overpass that runs over I95.
How far can a laser gun shoot??
    Wont do that again.

the manual says up to 2,000 feet but some have shot longer distances most roads in south fl I have seen 1,000 and less also where you were nailed is a known speed trap they love hiding out in the cove by the elk lodge or whatever it is right there

It sounds like distance was not a factor in your case. The laser was likely targeting an area of your car where the sensors on the jammers couldn't see it.

"Bulletproof" is a nice term, but I don't think anything is bulletproof. Jammers are just an aid, albeit a very nice aid. You still need to drive smart and even then there is no guarantee of being ticket free.

Distance should be irrelevant at long distances with the best jammers such as a Blinder or LI. It's all about punch through at short distances and that is where a perfect install is crucial as I stated.

Not much else to say other than test your install.
