Default Stealth the Install or Stealth the car?

    SO......

Being in a state where jammers are legal, What does everyone do?

Cliff recommended making the car stealth, ie on my cts-v not cutting the grill, but mounting them outside the grill. This will help any high angle shots.

I was just curious as I was planning on making the instal stealth, putting the heads flush with the grill.

What does everyone else do or think?

    Thanks in advance.

and BTW, Cliff ROCKS on customer service!

so both you would put them outside the grill in plain site as opposed to flush with the grill and cutting the grill so they are not sticking out but just flush with it?

Just looking at the pro's and cons....

Didn't know how bad it is when/if you get pulled over if they are in plain site up front... what happens.....

Stealth the car first, but also try to stealth the install as best you can without compromising performance. There's a guy right here in SoCal who is basically being stalked by OC Sheriff's deputies because they know he has a LIDAR jammer.

I guess that's not what you wanted to hear..lol! Well that good, at least he's being real and not giving you some BS suggestion.

    Anyways....

Its not illegal where I'm from or the states I frequent and since the only reason I purchased my LIs is to protect my car not to look cool. Well....I had to do what was in my best interest on my car as the stealth option wasn't working for me.

In the end it's your car and you can choose do whatever you feel like doing. With that out the way my suggestion is to follow Cliffs advice as it will result excellent results. On the other hand If you want to steal the show or impress others it's not

Whatever you choose to do get the install tested.

    BAM!!

What does everyone else do or think?

the problem with putting it flush is off-axis shots, and ambush shots on your headlights.

Even if the grill is flush with the headlights?

I Think I'm beginning to get the pictures as well as I think I have found the perfect way, kind of a hybrid of all

If the grill is flush with your headlights. you're lucky. mine aren't haha. If THAT is the case, i'd say just cut the grill, and have the heads sticking out of the grill a little bit. but the new LI heads are pretty small.

or you can put them on the outside of the grill, take a look for yourself, see if you like them, if not. cut the grill and have them stick out a little bit.
