This are not really falses per se. Some versions of the Infiniti ICC (Intelligent Cruise Control) have a similar pulse rate as the XR.

Gen 8. LI's have specific filtering against these ICC falses. I believe NitricAcid has an older Gen. 6 or 7 LI that does not have this filtering hence the XR Alert.
We are presently working on a Firmware Version for Gen. 8 LI users that will allow for EURO LIDARs to be turned On or Off.

I've never heard of that gun being used at all in NYC, let alone NY.
Did you see highway patrol anywhere?
Btw, I take that bridge a lot going from Canal St to the BQE, I have never seen any speed enforcement there
I am almost certain that this is a false!!!
I had this problem for 3 months until I moved my jammer wires away from the ignition cables! I should have thought of this earlier. Anyway, point is: move your jammer wires somewhere else far away from other wires and you should have the falses DISAPPPEAR completely! It used to be that whenever I hit the gas more than 3/4ths of the way I would have a "TRAFFIC PATROL, Please slow down" alert. At least I think so, because the audio quality on the Laser Interceptors is piss poor. The jamming though is top notch
Remember, the LI has an external speaker facility for those who, because of a compromised CPU install or a high ambient cockpit noise level, are unable to hear the LI's Voice Alerts clearly.

Hi Cliff,
I rarely have my radio on and the windows are always closed so the ambient noise is quite low but I still have a difficult time to identify the exact words during an alert. I'm not sure that I really care what gun it is anyway as long as I manage to avoid a "fast driving award". Should I ever decide that I want to always know what it is saying, I'll buy an external powered speaker.
a side note: I have no idea why but there seems to be a significant reduction in speed enforcement activity on the west side of Houston, TX in the past six or more months. Not one laser alert for the wife or I since early this year.
Better then a beep from the blinders. Try hearing THAT
Get an Escort external speaker and you'll be fine
