I have the LI quad installed on my Infiniti. You can see install setup pictures here. As part of its safety braking system, and its intelligent cruise control, the vehicle regularly emits laser signals (even when cruise control is off). I had to turn off the laser detection in my radar detector because it was always falsing laser. I realize there's a filter on the LI to prevent falses, but it still happens once or twice per day. Is there anyway to decrease the amount of falsing?
Also, an interesting story. My mother recently dropped me off at JFK airport. She was waiting outside until I called her to let her know that I'm at the terminal. A security person came out of the airport, while another airport security rolled up in his vehicle behind my mother. They observed my mother for a short while, and then one of them tapped on the vehicle so my mother rolled down her windows. They asked her what the black things were at the back of the vehicle. I previously told her that if anyone asks what they were, to just tell them they're parking sensors. She did just that, and the security guy said "We thought you were recording us." He went back to the other guy in the car behind my mother, and they continued to observe her until she left the airport. So, just be a little wary at airports...
Thanks for any help you guys can give me with the falsing.
