Default Lamin-X or other Clear Film Guard over Jammer Heads?

Has anyone applied a Lamin-X or something similar over the Jammer Head for protection from road debris? Figure it'd be a cheap/quick mod to cut out some clear protective film and apply, but wasn't sure if this would reduce jammer effectivity.

I'd be worried about the films effect on IR. Might be harmless, might not. Cliff?

You can purchase a product in The EU called Perspex 962. It is dark and will hide your sensors yet allows the transmission of IR.

Not directly relevant to the question, but does a clearbra reduce reflectivity to lidar at all, even if very minimally?

White car, clearbra'd, blacked out grill FYI. Just wonder if the film will help to reduce my "signature" to any extent.

Thank you Cliff, I will look into this stuff. It might be a nice thing that I could use in to the future to hide rear heads.

I take full blame for the link to the free samples being killed.

I take full responsibility for providing this perspex video which I uploaded a long time ago after I was sent it by cliff and after answering everything that has been asked in this thread in the attenuation thread which is found on this forum by a simple search and has everything you need to know about putting glass/plastic over an LI diode and how to write a run-on sentence and greenradar < rest but anyway here is the video that you have all been waiting for:
