Question Idea placement for a less common vehicle.

    Hello Community!

After some researching and reading reviews, I have decided to go with LI, Blinder was pretty close as a choice as well.

I have a Subaru Outback, which is not as common as other vehicles on the road and difficult to find any informations. I found Subaru Forester (closest to an Outback) and WRX pictures and informations.

I am thinking about installing at the blue area. What you think, or other locations?

    Thank You.

Would that create a shadow of the LI head on the road being placed there?

Ok Im one of those WRX owners with LIs. I ve had Shifters and Blinders both did a good job but the LIs will blow you away.
Now in the land down under we run Number Plates, police (LEOs) are told to focus on centre of mass (Number Plates). Mine are placed in the yellow position and have saved me plenty of times.

I might go with the blue placement.

I also like the yellow about the focus on the center mass and it blends in well with the bumper. Seems like I might need four heads (blue/infront headlights and yellow area hehe).

Infront of the lights, I am not sure how to wire and bracket attachments through the headlight housing and bumper area, I will have to check into that so that might be another consideration.

It is nice to know that someone who tried all three brands and LI still came on top.

Thank you for the inputs everyone!

Blue is the ideal location. LI heads have incredible detection. The old Blinder 18" rule does not apply here, although some believe it is still a good rule to follow. With the heads located in the blue location, assuming your heads are level and aligned properly, you will have absolutely nothing to worry about. Link up with a forum member local to you who would be kind enough to test your car after the installation.
