I am in the process as some of you know by my other posts of deciding to buy a LI Dual setup for my car. I have really tried to do my homework on this idea of police counter measures so as to not ask silly questions that I'm sure get tiring for you all to answer.
That being said I do have a question that I have yet to get a good feel on by just reading posts and reviews. I don't speed ridiculous speeds, usually 70 in a 55 and 85-90 in a 70 zone. My question is this. If I use JTK regularly with my LI duals what are the odds I will be pulled over and harrased for jamming. I for sure do not want to get pulled over for using jammers. My whole goal is to prevent LEO encounters. Like I have mentioned above I don't speed excessivly so I should have plenty of time to slow down and turn the jammers off. To my knowledge jammers are legal in Kentucky. I plan on using the LI Duals in conjunction with Veil for added protection to Lidar.
One thing I really like about the LI is the track record it carries on test and also It is said to not give jam codes which will make it less detectable.
For those of you who use this system daily have you been pulled over for jamming and or recieved a ticket, etc....
I know this is a question asked multiple times but there is tons of conflicting information on the web. Some say the harrasment of jamming is not worth the risk and others say they have never been pulled over or harrassed. As stated earlier I plan on using JTK always, unless I am hit at such short distances I just physically can't turn it off until I am passed them. I know of nothing to be done in that circumstance?
Last question. I see the PA/Jam switch on radarbusters. Is this the switch you need to to JTK or does the LI Dual unit come with the switch you need already when purchased?
