Honda Accord Sensor Mount

Hi, I have a 2005 Honda Accord and was wondering if I should mount the LI sensors at the top (red) or bottom (blue). It looks like it would be easier to mount it at the bottom, but at the end of the day I want to have maximum protection, so I would be willing to mount it at the top if its better.
