Default For all the people who use Guys of Lidar:

I'm surprised I haven't seen this up, but maybe it's due to the Uber strict rules of this forum.

The Guys of Lidar conducted their testing this weekend and I like most of you are looking forward to the results. I think its pretty cool how they conduct independent testing for the consumer which is made possible by donations and their own money. So what I'm asking is for everybody who uses Guys of Lidar results (as a purchasing decision) to please donate to their Paypal account: admin@guysoflidar.com

And NO, I have no relation to Guys of Lidar (or anybody on this forum) in any manner.

I just sent $15. I know it's not much, but it's better than nothing. Who's next?

I think people of the board could quantify how much money to give if they were told what the money was going towards. What and how much are the expenses?

    Just for myself.

    $150 Plane Ticket
    $75 in food
    $30 in hotel
    $30 for parking garage
$45 in gas to get to airport and back

3 Fulls days of testing AVG 9 to 10 hour days getting a sweet tan and car sick because of all the back and forth driving / slamming on the brakes

But is it about the money? Not for me its a passion and getting to hang out with awesome people, put your heart into something beneficial, work your butt off and know you did it right.

I'd do it all over again starting tonite if HappyA$$ said lets do it.

Do you think the donations should pay for just the expenses? I am one that believes my little $15 donation can either go towards food, gas, toilet paper, or even a profit (if there is money left over). The donation is more of a token of appreciation and thanks for what they do.

    i spent over $600.00.

it was worth EVERY penny. Thanks to GOL for the invite, and it was a pleasure being there with everyone. it was a great group of people there.

Thanks to happya$$ and his family for the hospitality.

i learned more about jammers than i care to remember.
