Default 2002 Audi A4 - where to put jammer heads

I've seen the pics of the '01 S4 with jammers in the fog light grilles, now let's see what options exist on my '02 A4. The grilles are a bit different in this car, which makes hiding jammer heads a bit more difficult, especially with the larger Blinder heads.

Here's a pic of the front of my car (bonus: I just put Veil on the headlights today).

The grilles have slats which would have to be cut to hide a Blinder or ZR3 head (though a Lidatek or AL7 head may fit). There's an opening below the fog light grilles that a LED head may fit in without alterations, but would those be too low? The upper grille (between the headlights) might be a better location but would be less stealthy, especially if I have to cut the grille.

    Any suggestions?

See if you can monkey with the plate mount so the plate reflects into the sky.

    Its passive and its cheap.

Would that work with a retro-reflective plate? Also, I have a Laser Shield on there already.

    Why not?
Since you mention it, nothing a little rock salt / sandblasting fading of the retro-reflective surface wouldn't help the cause............

Actually, if I were to angle the plate, wouldn't angling it down toward the road make more sense? That way it helps with overpass shots as well.

It would be an easy mod (just adding washers/shims) but I don't think it would be effective on retro-reflective plates.

Any other jammer suggestions? crazyVOLVOrob, do you mean the slot just above the Quattro badge on the grille?

Also, I'm having mixed feelings about Veil on my headlights. I have a thread in the Veil area about it.

    I thought about angling down.

That certainly would help from an overpass.

I went with up to the sky so it wouldn't contribute to a bounce off the pavement back to the gun angle..................

Wear the reflective coating off with a NEw England rock salt sandblasting..........
