Now as far as I understand the rocky mountain radar detector/laser Scrambler DLS315 has 0% jamming ability and possibly no laser detection either.
Some local internet traders here in New Zealand are marketing them as
"The Rocky Mountain DLS-315 is the fastest radar detector & laser scrambler available today."
Curious I asked one of them the question below.
Does this unit wait to recieve lidar first before transmitting ie
(passive) it back or does it constantly transmit all the time ie (active)?
Active, The DLS315 transmits pulses electronically timed at 100 feet
apart. This only allows the Lidar to see up to 100 feet so it is unable to
calculate your speed.
Does anyone know if there is any truth in the sellers answer?
