    Default AL single head unit.

Talked to Vito of AL and got a discount on single head package. Its still more than a Blinder m20 and dont know what i should do. Would one head be suffiecient of should i keep my current m20?

The rad is where i was thinking of mounting. The Staton suggested i did a custom install on the plate with a dremel tool. If i did not do this and mounted the head below, would i have bad protection?

Let me know what you do. You are having the same exact quandry that I am right now. I also talked to Vito who also offered me a special. But I am not sure about going with just one head, even with my car as small as it is.

Well, there is one difference: You already have a BLINDER. I don't have anything. If you look at go.mouse's video test of a one-head AL, it isn't that impressive. I don't know that you'd have any better performance than the BLINDER you already have.

If I were you, I don't think I'd do it. Unless you are confident:

    1. That you could unload your BLINDER for decent $$$
    2. That one head will give you sufficient coverage.
EDIT TO ADD: Actually, sufficient coverage AND more impressive performance than BLINDER. I'm not sure that will happen with one head.

    My $0.02.

If you keep the M-20 and add the LPP, you will rock. If you take one away, you will still have issues at very short range. If it was me, I'd keep the M-20 and figure a way to get rid of the front plate. Retroreflective plates and stickers are like huge beacons to laser guns. IMHO, you need at least one transmitter just to take care of a license plate.

yeah im pretty sure it is a federal offence to deface a license plate...i wouldnt go for the AL as they are lesser quality now than the LPP...seek ALL options before you choose.

Could you please explain how AL is lesser quality than the LPP? Aren't they the same thing rebranded?
