I have noticed that my AL 8.0 parking sensor will pick up a vehicle infront of me and some times it won't. I'M kind of dissapoined about the parking senors proformance. For example if I pull in my driveway sometimes it will beep when getting close to another vehicle 3-5' Feet and sometimes it will not go off untill you are a few 1' to 2' feet away. First thing I checked was to see if the heads were clean. They were , then I made sure that the angle of the head was level, it was. The color of the other vehicle could be a factor but, this has been tested on the same exact vehicle and there seems to be a variance each time the car is parked.
I'M worried that if a LEO shoots me my AL may not jam either fast enough or at all! Some have said that the parking sensor has nothing to do with it's jamming ability but I really am starting to wonder if this is true.
Why in the world would the parking sensor alert some times far and sometimes so close you couldn't walk between the two cars?
This is very dangerous if you rely on the parking sensor to park your ride. If you trust it to alert you , It dosn't and you end up hitting a wall or another parked car you risk damage you their vehicle, building, and your car as well as the sensor! Has anyone else had a problem with the AL 8.0?
I'M kind of disapointed.
