    Default Call Me Hard Headed...

...but I just ordered the Lidatek LE-30D Dual System. The 30 day trial was a comfort. I chose it for installation purposes and well, it's a US made product.
I have lots of resources for testing. My wife's cousin is the Sheriff of this county. Her grand uncle is second in command and her father is a retired city officer. So.... we will see I guess.
I'll report for sure. If I can get some guidance for setting up a test?

Did you see how I tested the laser mimic laser jammer test videos on my website? Try to film it like that. You'll need 3 people. A driver, laser operator, and camera man. Make sure you get an FRS radio, so you can tell the driver when you're ready for the car to drive towards you. To see the videos go to www.jammertests.com and click on the laser mimic vids.

Good luck with the testing if you can get everything set up. I have concerns that you may be disappointed afterwards and then order a Blinder M-40 for about the same price. Given your location you may run into the Laser Atlanta unit in Stealth Mode so the X50 will not alert and you will be totally relying on your laser jammers alone. The Blinder series is the only one that states they can jam this mode and even offers a speeding ticket guarantee.

Here is an interesting post that you may want to read.

Laser Atlanta has a 1% market share now. McCoy's lawline used to be the sales force for Laser Atlanta, but after MC merged with Decatur radar they dropped the Laser Atlanta product line. This completely destroyed LA's sales force and it's believed LA didn't even sell 500 units last year.

On top of all that Stealth mode is not talked about in the user manual and the manual doesn't tell you how to active stealth mode. I sell these guns and I had to talk with LA to find out how to get it into this mode. Whoever made up the manuals over there should get fired....or maybe it's a good thing they left it out for whatever reason :-)

By default LA stealth mode is off for a likely reason it takes 50% more time to get a speed reading.

From this board, it sounds like you got 3 basic laser jammer competitors that actually work:

    Blinder Extreme
    Lidatek
    Mimic

I know Radar Roy sells the Blinder, but what pricing are we looking at for the other two (no need to particularly point out where it is being purchased tho, which is against forum rules). I'm just wondering how competitive the Blinder is/will be comapred to these other comparable/viable alternatives?

The price on the Mimic is $199.99 for the two transponder ver. and $245.00 for the three transponder ver. Thats 1/3 more coverage for only $45.00 more. Thats pre SML testing prices. If they show up for the SML testing nest month and do well then the price could go up.

The Bel Laserpro 905 and Escort ZR3 also work well.

The Mimic ... if that turns out to be as great as it sounds, I'm so getting one. Mounting on an '03 Vette ought to be fun, but still, it seems like some awesome hardware.
