Laser Atlanta(jam software)vs Laser Pro Park 10.1

On Friday the 13th I'll be making a trip over to Vancouver to see how the Laser Pro Park 10.1 does against the Laser Atlanta w/jam detect software. We'll be testing Dave's single head and Mouse's dual head unit. This time I'm bringing the upgraded software from Laser Atlanta that shows when and what type of jammer is being used. Laser Atlanta offers free upgrades to departments the last time I checked, so if you have LA's in your area you better assume they have the newest software just to be safe.

Unlike the last test Mouse and I did, we are not going to be using a tripod and the cars will drive at normal speeds. I had a custom mount made for the camera and lidar, so this time you'll see it filmed 100% through the HUD and it won't be jerky due to the camera mount.

The videos will be trickled in starting Monday. This will be the first time we've ever seen the jam detect software on video. If you guys/gals have any questions or comments please do so in this thread before I take off on Thursday.

If anyone lives near Vancouver BC or Seattle, WA and would like to have their jammer tested let me know.

How about a picture of the laser diode inside the "S"?

I already know the "R" case / Advantage is just like everyone else except the Pro Laser II.................

So you think the type S's diode is different than the R? If you go to LA's website they'll tell you everything is the same in terms of the guts and software. The only diference is the casing.

Mouse did a beam spread test on crazy's LA. Do you want a picture of the beam spread pattern or a picture of the diode itself?(camera lens up against laser lens)
