Default Can someone please explain this too me....

If you are using a laser jammer, won't the LEO know that when he/she can't get your speed? I want to get one but am a little worried about getting caught. How do you use one without getting busted? Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

With a laser jammer, the idea is to turn it off once you are at legal speed and allow the officer to acquire your speed. Sometimes a speed cannot be acquired right away due to other conditions, so if he doesn't get a speed immediately that isn't necessarily suspicious by itself.

Some guns utilize "jam codes" too, so it is important to know the laser guns used in your area and the effects of different jammers on whether they'll cause codes on the gun.

the jammer will alert you when your car is being targetted, you can then slow to a legal speed and turn off the jammer, the officer will get a reading.

What about the codes? What if it says ''error'' on the gun? Are you busted?

One cop gave me a hard look when I jammed him for only about 1-2 seconds at very short range. I did turn off the jammer but he stopped shooting. It must have thrown an E0x on his Ultralyte.

But some cops keep shooting until they get a reading, and when they get your speed, they simply move on to the next vehicle like nothing unusual happened. It really depends on the officers operating lidar.

Yeah you should worry about JTG because the more you do it the more cops are going to complain, so the more probabilities you have that your state would make it illegal to have one.
