Three quick beeps from AL while driving?
Twice now, I've had the AL give me three quick beeps and then go back to business as usual.
The first time, there was a GA Trooper up ahead, so I figured the AL had just reacted, albeit strangely, to his LIDAR.
However, I was driving the other day and the same thing happened, but no LEO to be found.
Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a problem with the unit?

you are in the proximity of a laser guided cruise control. the only thing you can do is get out of there way.
i am working with LPP to see if we can get this fixed.

Thats just the sound for detecting a interference. So your AL picked up something... whatever.
It can be caused sometimes by sun set (low hanging sun)
or some Brakelights of Mercedes Benz work with LED operating on 920nm...
I'm always faster than you, at least facing the death ...

This happened on my AntiLaser a few times. Keep an eye on it and let us know how frequent it happens.

Clutching at straws here but...Any chance I can use this as an excuse should I get pulled for a rear shot that couldn't get a reading?
I.e. would pressing the brake pedal on a Merc have any effect on a "shot from the rear" laser gun even if it's 920nm? Please gawd, please!
"A laser what, orifice; I mean officer? Erm..I've got LED brakelights, would that cause the problem? No, that there is just a parking sensor"

a triple beep occured once for me as well... and a gun was definitely targetting me. I went back to check if it will happen again, but this time it jammed normally.... strange... hasnt happened since that.

I think this problem is sorted in the v17.21 firmware.
I was able to recreate the 3 beeps with my stereo's remote on the v17.01 f/w but i cant trigger it anymore with the v17.21 f/w. Seems like they rewrote some of the code. I wonder if they included a generic jam?
I apologise.... i am talking hogwash above.... i managed to recreate the 3 beeps with the v17.21 software about an hour ago... strange tho.... all i did was hold the power button down... What i did notice is that the green LED stop flashing as per normal and then the 3 beeps with the red LED appearing. I don't know what this means?

I get the 3 beeps at least 2 or 3 times a day. I don't even notice it. I just figured it was some kind of interference.
