New features on AL v17.21

How knows how to use the new features on v17.21?

Found out... finally got my control box upgraded...

Three new features...

1. switching between optimal and maximum laser output
2. restoring to factory defaults
3. deactivate parking sensor

I've heard about the new features. Some are very cool. I'm not sure how long to hold the mute button in to activate/deactive the new options. happya$$ might know if you haven't asked AntiLaser yet.

1. 13th flash, for laser output
2. 15th flash, for restoring factory settings
3. 25th flash, to deactivate the parking sensor, to activate use the restore factory settings method.

don't be so quick.
apparently it only deactivates the alert, but the sensor is still transmitting.
thus if you disabled it to stop it from alerting other jammers or your detector, it will still cause those falses.

this can be seen with a night vision camera.

that and it sucks that you must spend $100 every time you want a "software" update. :?

If you have an AntiLaser, you don't need other jammers on your car. Unless you are crazy like RacerX and put 20 different jammers on your car it won't be an issue.

I do remember witnessing a V1 picking up the parking sensor and alerting laser, but I haven't seen any other detectors do this.

well if it JTG the Stalker like they showed, you wouldn't need other jammers.

as for the alerts on a V1, that would suck to spend $100 to disable it, to find out it didn't disable it. so i guess every V1 owner that doesn't want any falses will find out the hard way by paying all that for nothing. :?

once again, if they advertise it to do something it should. don't turn off the alerts, and tell everyone it's disabled when it's not, turn of the actual transmitter.
